The Niche Free-From Kitchen is our central production kitchen producing food for a number of our brands. The kitchen whilst primarily set up for frozen food can also be used for chilled food production and is entirely gluten and nut-free.
The kitchen uses state-of-the-art HACCP software with full traceability analysis bar-coding which is client accessible. We operate a strict low-care and high-care system and work to BRCAA standard, with additional certifications for our gluten-free and plant based products.
We are able to produce up to 6000 meals per day on a two shift system with a maximum capacity of 9000 meals per day at three shifts.
Location & Visitors
Our kitchen is located in Harlow, Essex close to the M11 and A1 and just 6 miles from the M25; 15 mins from Stanstead airport, 30 mins from London City Airport, 45 mins from Luton Airport and just over 1 hour from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Just 30 mins from Central London by train. Car parking is available.
Due to the nature of our production and strict allergen management, no visitors are permitted without completion and approval of a pre-visit application (48hrs). Therefore if you show up without the approval please don’t be offended when you are asked to leave!
Assuming you have completed our form and got the approval we have a few extra rules; the first being we don’t allow any food on site that isn’t pre-approved and strictly no gluten and no nuts. We will ask you not to bring any food with you, reduce your jewellery. We will welcome you to our presentation room and go through our visitor policy with you. We do not allow visitors into our high care area, however we do have a viewing window to this area which is on the first floor of our building.
